- Demonstrate Strong Mechanical Aptitude
- Knowledge of our accounting software XERO, is a plus but not a prerequisite
- Knowledge of CSS and HTML is a plus, but not a prerequisite
What we do
- We are an Online seller of locks, and commercial door hardware
- We Help the customer to find that specialized door hardware they need for unusual applications
- We locate products they are unable to source on their own

More About us/How we function
- We are almost 100% dropship-What does this mean? dropshipping is where we sell a product and have it fulfilled by a third party.. this third party may be a supplier, or a factory. We have direct relationships with many factories who fulfill orders for us
- We have 3 types of orders:
(a).Manually entered orders(Usually originating from a phone call)These orders are manually entered into our accounting system.
(b).Orders may come in from our webstore, we then receive an email and we will check to make sure its a valid order(Not a scam order)then we forward it to the fulfiller for processing
(c).Customers will sometimes call by phone requesting a quote. In those cases, we will create a quotation with our custom software and streamline the process by emailing them a quote and later creating an invoice when they are ready to move forward
You may be asking, what would my duties involve?
- Initial training may be anywhere from 2-6 hours a day...you will be paid for training...as your knowledge and proficiency progresses, we will transition to full time 9-5 monday-friday eastern standard time
- Visitors to our website May fill out the quote request form or contact form, this arrives through our custom relationship management software or (CRM) for short. This comes in as a sales Lead. When a new lead is received, we first must ensure it's not a spammer(Many are russian spammers),In which case it would be deleted, however if it is a valid lead then you the sales assistant would convert the lead into a ticket which would allow us to Communicate with the customer to give them more information. once the lead is converted to a ticket, then the sales manager would make a determination of what product would meet the customer's needs and prepare a quotation for the customer.
- The second order of business is generally checking emails and responding to customer requests
- Customer requests often arrive in the form of a ticket, our ticketing system allows us to communicate with the customer and see a record of all communications in the past, minimizing any likelihood of mistakes
- Next, you would be responsible for checking the status of orders, and communicating with the customer to let them know the status of their order
- The sales lead may ask you for assistance with preparation of quotes or invoices, as well as research of various parts or part numbers
- So, let's suppose one of our customers accepts the quote, you might be called upon to prepare an invoice for the customer, check it thoroughly, have the sales manager verify, and send it to the customer, from there they can conveniently pay the invoice and we submit it to the fulfillment center
- You may be called upon to check with various fulfillment centers to ensure that expected ship dates are getting met and verifying the items on the order acknowledgments
